Description:
Two new astronaut recruits, Sally and Yuri, are excited to arrive at NASA to begin their training. However, shortly after meeting Cliff, whom they assume to be their trainer, they begin to notice that there is something strange about Space Camp. Cliff reveals that they have actually been diverted to NASSA – the Nebraska All-Senior Science Alliance – and that Sally and Yuri have been recruited into his senior class project on climate change.

The actors are then instructed by the Host in an improvisation game to continue in Wild West style, Film Noir, Horror movie satire, and TV news style - all the while exploring the ways in which the COVID 19 pandemic has been a global wakeup call for food security and climate resilience. Global strategies to ensure food security and climate resilience are covered, as well as how students can play an essential part by choosing a STEM based career.

Description:
You are working late in your laboratory with a team of scientists brainstorming how to help the world move towards renewable resources to provide energy and power. You are in the middle of a discussion about how we must slowly eliminate the use of non-renewable sources to successfully move towards renewable resources. All of a sudden, you notice a letter slipped under the door. “Hello again, my friends. I do agree that our planet needs to move towards renewable energy sources rather than rely on so many non-renewable natural resources. I have a plan! I have compiled the world’s supply of coal and I’m going to destroy it all in 40 minutes. Then we will have to find different sources. Stop me if you dare! -Dr. Strange I. Deas”
